We are a church made up of people from across the Nene Valley who practice the way of Jesus together. If you’re new here, exploring Jesus, or just in need of help, you are really welcome here.

We get together each Sunday at Manor School in Raunds at 10.30am.

We have groups for our 3-18 year olds, as well as a box of toys for our under-3s. Get there a little a bit early for free fresh-brewed coffee, tea and snacks. Be yourself!

The year is well and truly kicking into gear! As well as the things about, don't forget our Communities, groups of 6-14-or-so people who gather around the Nene Valley.

We know that so often, when you think of starting

We know that so often, when you think of starting a spiritual journey, Christianity isn't the first place you often go. It's too organised. It's stuffy...

But did you know that Jesus said he came to give humanity 'life to the full'? If you're hungry for something more, he calls himself the bread of life. If you're thirsty for something deeper in life, Jesus has an invitation for you: "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink."

Whether you're just wanting to know more about this Jesus thing, or are genuinely interested in a spiritual journey in 2025, we are totally here for it!

How ever you are choosing to read the Scriptures this year, we pray it would strengthen, encourage, stretch and challenge you!

As 2024 draws to a close, we come with gratitude f

As 2024 draws to a close, we come with gratitude for all the Lord has done and is doing.

We are grateful for new life, salvation, healing, baptism, dedications and lives well lived now in glory.

We think fondly of Bible Courses, Alpha, DTI, Connect Lunches, ecumenical gatherings on the Square in Raunds, LZ7 school tours and more.

For every Sunday we could gather at the school, and for wonderful friends who helped us in our moments of need - Compass Church, Thrapston Baptist Church, Raunds Methodist, St James Thrapston, Souster Youth and Thrapston Baptist.

For new friends, and old friends moved on, for all that God has done.

We look back with fondness, yet take note of our hurts, our pains and losses and we pray for the joy of Lord to overflow, and peace beyond understanding.

And yet, with gratitude for all the Lord has done, we humbly pray for more - more salvation, more freedom, more healings, mended relationships and prayers answered.

We are so grateful, Lord.

2025 IS NEARLY HERE!

And as a new year rolls in, many of us will be thinking of changes we want to make. As you consider New Year’s resolutions, we want to encourage you to take A New Testament Journey with us (put together by the wonderful croydonvineyard) a or another reading plan if you would prefer!

We also enter a season of prayer and fasting - 20 days for 2025. We’ve got prayer ins specific to our setting and we’d encourage you to join in the the Vineyard’s prayer points too.

We pray 2025 would be full of God’s blessings, that you would see His kingdom come in many and varied and wonderful ways!

THIS SUNDAY WE'RE DOING THINGS A LITTLE DIFFERENTL

THIS SUNDAY WE'RE DOING THINGS A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY!

We won't have our usual kids or youth sessions, and because of this we'll have a shorter time together with worship, some thoughts from the Scriptures and chance to pray. There will be plenty of time afterward to mingle.

If you need soft seating, do bring a cushion or two - we won't be unloading our own soft seating as we normally do.

Finally... and for some, most importantly... we won't be providing tea, coffee or snacks this Sunday. You will need to pre-caffeinate! However, you're more than welcome to bring a flask of tea or coffee with you from home.

We can't wait to gather together again! We're back to 'normal' on Sunday 5th January 2025!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Today we celebrate God stepping

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Today we celebrate God stepping down into our story, our brokenness, our helplessness. He who would take upon himself that which was ours.

"The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned." Isaiah 9:2

We have much to celebrate today. May you know God's presence in your festivities, the Spirit at work in your heart and mind and may His peace be yours.

This Sunday we're pulling out some Christmas carols and enjoying the unrehearsed nativity... which is exactly what it sounds like!

If you have kids, bring them along as their favourite nativity character (or recycle their outfit from their school play if appropriate) and they can get stuck in. Will there be 3 Marys? 6 wise men? Who knows! But it will be good fun.

Once all the fun is over, we've got tea, coffee and mince pies in abundance to share, so stick around and enjoy this particular festive session!
