Central Vineyard Raunds

In September 2021, Central Vineyard’s location in Raunds became a more autonomous Vineyard church called ‘Nene Valley Vineyard’.

Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, the team at Central Vineyard became increasingly aware that the structure of “one church in multiple locations”, or “multisite” church was increasingly becoming a blocker where it has once been a blessing that enable multiplication.

Alongside this, Central Vineyard in Wellingborough, which was in it’s infancy when the near 18-month lockdown hit was unlikely to return to Sunday gatherings. Tom and Ashleigh Nicholson, who led the site in Wellingborough took on the baton of leadership of the Raunds site, and merged with some of the wonderful folks who had been gathering in Wellingborough.

So, a new group of people, spread across towns and villages across the Nene Valley was born. At the same time, Central Vineyard maintained it’s church in Northampton, planted Kettering Vineyard, Nene Valley Vineyard and began planting Garden City Vineyard in Milton Keynes. Collectively, the churches relate together as a ‘CV Family‘.
