WE CAN ALL GROW.
Whether you’re new to faith, exploring faith, or a ‘veteran’ of following Jesus, all of us have capactiy to grow. In fact, the attitude that “you know it all” is regarded as quite dangerous in the Bible! It hints at pride (which some in the Catholic tradition regard as the most troublesome of sins – interesting, huh?) and being unteachable.
Ephesians 4 speaks of the church’s responsibility to equip the saints for all types of good work. Below are just a few of the ways we are outworking that!
VINEYARD LEADERSHIP ESSENTIALS
This is for EVERYONE!
Leading a community/group? Leading a team or ministry? Leading in business? Whether you’ve been leading 6 months, 6 years, just exploring leadership, or for what feels like a lifetime, Vineyard Leadership Essentials will challenge and grow you in many different areas.
Run in a flipped classroom format, where we watch the material before we gather to talk about it, we will meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Meetings will be on Zoom, with an optional in person gathering once a term where we will have the opportunity to worship together and pray for each other.
If you feel this is time for you to step up, develop skills and put them into practice, sign up and someone will be in contact to discuss this pathway with you.
Vineyard Leadership Essentials is free and is part of the Vineyard Ministry Pathway. We will be joining together with the cvfamily for this programme, giving a wider dynamic to discussions on the different areas of growth and leadership.
VINEYARD THEOLOGY
Want to more fully understand the Vineyard’s theological foundation of the Kingdom of God?
This year, 2022-2023, we are going through The Essential 3 from Vineyard Theological Training. These three modules include:
1 – Biblical Metanarrative – the storyline of scripture
2 – Understanding The Kingdom – the theology of the Kingdom of God
3 – Demonstrating The Kingdom – living out the kingdom in practical ways
The content is video based for you to watch in your own time. We then come together, on Zoom, on the third Monday of each month to chat through what we are learning. We will be joining with friends across the cvfamily for these evenings.
The Essential 3 are offered at the special price of £90 for the three if purchased together (usually £45/module)
Our first meeting for the Biblical Metanarrative module is Monday 19 September, but you’ll want to start the material before then as, on that evening, we’ll be discussing Learning Blocks 1, 2 + 3.
