HELP US SHARE GOD'S LOVE.
We want to show God’s love in practical ways to as many people as we can this coming Sunday! Join us on one of our projects – or try something for yourself! Whether it’s making cups of tea for your neighbours, a bit of weeding, a litter pick on your street etc – whatever. It’s something that might make people stop and ask ‘Why?’. Because we want to show God’s love in a practical way.
Given the news of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, and that our nations are entering in to a time of national mourning, we feel that even with the heart to love and bless others, our acts of kindness and generosity may be viewed as insenstive.
Instead, we will gather to pray – details are to follow.

Where?
Meeting at the car park (just off the high street, opposite the Co-Op)
When
10.15am onwards (until we run out of stuff!)
What’s Involved?
We’ll be giving away free chocolate bars and maybe some flower bulbs to passers by.

Outside the Town Hall (opposite the Co-op)

We’ll be giving out bags of daffodil bulbs to those passing by.
Thrapston - Chocolate Giveaway
Where?
Meeting in the Co-Op car park

Free Hot Drinks
Where?
Somewhere with a steady flow of people, and not too many coffee shops whom you might upset.
Leading involves…
Hot flasks, tea bags, coffee, milk, sugar and cups (we have all of this) – and a table to serve!
What’s Involved?
Offer people a free hot drink – maybe a biscuit or a chocolate too!

3-4 people is probably enough – otherwise you end up with a ‘mob’ forming around the table.
Tip Runs

Local to you
Leading involves…
Finding a car, clearing some room for stuff – finding some bin bags and gloves.
What’s Involved?
Offer to take some things to the tip for neighbours – or in an area near to you. Let them know it’s just to show God’s love in a practical way.
