Baptism
We love baptisms. Baptism symbolises the journey from death into life, following Jesus all the way through the waters. It’s a public declaration of faith in Jesus, a commitment to follow in his way, and to do it surrounded by a loving Jesus-family!
About Baptism
“Paul said, ‘John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.’ On hearing this, they were baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus.” Acts 19:4-5
Baptism in the way of Jesus is to called a son and daughter. It’s to say goodbye to death, and hello to the path of life. Baptism is for those who have decided to follow Jesus as a lifelong commitment – to following him, to choose his way over all others and to be continually transformed by him.
